The story behind Estrela
Estrela Financial Group was founded by a Breck Johnson, a CPA with a background in accounting and finance and firsthand experience as a small-business and farm owner. Working on both sides of the numbers revealed a gap: small and growing businesses often need thoughtful financial guidance long before they have the size or resources of a large company.
Estrela was built to help close that gap. The name — Portuguese for “star” — reflects the idea at the heart of the firm: providing a steady point of guidance as business owners navigate their finances, make decisions, and build toward what comes next.
Today, Estrela works with small and growing businesses across a range of industries, with specialized knowledge in agriculture and equine operations. Our services are practical, thorough, and tailored to how each business actually operates.

Founder & Principal Advisor
Breck Johnson is a Certified Public Accountant with a background in accounting, finance, financial reporting, and business operations. As a small-business and farm owner herself, she also understands the financial realities behind owner-operated businesses. Where business decisions aren't theoretical and the numbers affect much more than a quarterly report.
Breck's approach is grounded in the belief that good financial guidance should create clarity. She helps business owners understand where they stand, where they're going, and what their numbers are telling them along the way.
Through Estrela, she combines technical accounting knowledge with a practical, owner-focused approach to bookkeeping, tax, and advisory services. Her particular interest in agriculture and equine businesses has shaped Estrela's growing specialization in those industries.
